How to use Geloxio

Click Open Geloxio at the top of the page. If you are not signed in yet, the sign-in page opens.

• Sign up to create an account with your email and a password of at least 8 characters.
• Log in if you already have an account.
• Forgot your password? Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page.

Once you are signed in, Geloxio opens directly on the dictation page. Nothing to install: it works in your browser.

Use Geloxio on the web, or add the optional browser extension to dictate directly in Gmail, Outlook, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp Web, Notion, and more.

• Choose the language you speak in I speak. Geloxio supports English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Arabic, Turkish, Japanese, Chinese, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Estonian, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Swedish, or Auto-detect.
• With Pro, choose your job in Professional mode: General, Lawyer, Medical, Accounting, HR, Real estate, Insurance, Sales, Meeting, Education, or Customer support. It also opens the professional assistant for your job.
• Click Start dictation and speak naturally. Your words appear in Your text in real time.
• Dictation stops by itself after 3 seconds of silence. You can also click Stop dictation at any time.
• You can also type or correct the text directly in the text area.

In Firefox, free accounts get 5 minutes of Precision dictation, one time only. Use Chrome or Edge for unlimited free dictation.

Say punctuation and layout commands while you dictate. Each language has its own words: for example, in French you say “virgule” and “point”. Here are the English commands:

• Click All commands to see the full list in the language you are dictating in.
• In this list, you can also click a sign to insert it at the cursor.
• Press the Enter key to go to the next line.

• Turn on translation, below the language you speak.
• Choose the target language in Translate to.
• Start dictating: Geloxio turns your speech into the chosen language instantly.

Audio and videoPro

• Click Choose file in Import audio or video: MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, or WebM, up to 120 minutes per file.
• Geloxio uses the I speak language selected above.
• Click Transcribe file. Geloxio separates speakers when possible.
• Click a sentence in the transcript to play the recording from that moment.

PDF

• Click Choose PDF in Import a PDF (up to 50 MB), then Extract PDF text.
• Free accounts can import PDFs that already contain text.
• Scanned PDFs (OCR) require Pro: up to 100 pages per document and 200 OCR pages per month.
• You can then translate, rewrite, summarize, copy, or export the extracted text.

Rewrite

• Choose a style: Professional, Email, More natural, Shorter, More detailed, or Polite.
• Read the result in Rewritten text, then click Use this version to keep it.

Summary

• Choose a format: Short summary, Key points, Meeting notes, or Action items.
• Click Copy summary to copy it.

Rewrite and Summary share one allowance: 300 per month.

Dictate your case, then let Geloxio do the research or prepare the work for your job. Here is how:

• Choose your job in Professional mode.
• Choose your Country: laws and rules differ from one country to another. The country is required for Lawyer, Accounting, HR, Real estate, and Insurance, and optional for Medical.
• Dictate or type your case in Your text.
• Click the amber assistant button under your text. Its name depends on your job (see the table below).

Jobs with research and sources

For these jobs, Geloxio searches the web and gives you the laws, rules, and references of the chosen country, with the list of sources so you can check them.

Example: choose Lawyer and France, dictate “My client was dismissed without a prior interview”, then click Find Laws & Procedures.

References checked on official sources

Under the answer, Geloxio checks the references it contains on official databases and shows the result:

• Every country: the numbers [1] [2] at the end of a line show its sources, and government websites are marked Official. In Medical, the medicines are checked on openFDA (official U.S. drug labels). In HR, a link opens the labor law profile of your country at the International Labour Organization.
• France: code articles on Légifrance (in force or not), decisions of the Cour de cassation on Judilibre (Lawyer, HR, Real estate, Insurance), and medicines on the French medicines database BDPM (marketed in France, indications, prescription conditions, ANSM safety information, and shortages).
• United States: federal regulations on eCFR and federal laws (U.S. Code) on govinfo, with a link to the current text. State laws are not checked.
• ✓ found (in force), ⚠ not found, not in force, or to check, ? could not be checked right now. A check confirms that a reference exists, not that the answer applies it correctly to your case.

Jobs without research

For these jobs, Geloxio works only from your text and prepares the work for you. Click Insert into text to add the result to your text.

Good to know

• Click Copy to copy the result. Research results come with their Sources and stay as they are, so they cannot be inserted into your text.
• Each month: 200 research requests (Lawyer, Medical, Accounting, HR, Real estate, Insurance) and 300 assistant uses (Sales, Meeting, Education, Customer support).
• The assistant is an AI. It does not replace a lawyer, a doctor, or any professional advice: always check the content and the sources before you use them.

• Export your text with Export TXT, Export PDF, or Export Word.
• For transcribed media, Export SRT and Export VTT create subtitle files.
• Click Clear to empty the text area.

History and favoritesPro

• Save a dictation with a title.
• Search your history and reopen any saved dictation.
• Click Add favorite to keep important dictations at hand, or Delete to remove one.

Send your text to anyone, straight from Geloxio, without opening your mailbox.

• Click Send by email under your text.
• Enter the Recipient email and a Subject.
• Click Send. Your text is the body of the email.
• The email is sent from noreply@geloxio.com and shows that it comes from you. When your recipient clicks Reply, the answer goes to your own email address.
• Free: 1 email to try it. Pro: up to 20 emails per day.

Turn your dictation into a ready-to-print letter with your own letterhead.

• Open Letter templates and create your letterhead: logo (PNG or JPG, up to 500 KB), name, address, phone, email, website, and extra information.
• Free: 1 template. Pro: up to 10 templates.
• Under your text, choose a template in Create a letter.
• Choose a Recipient, or No recipient.
• The date is added automatically, written in the language of the letter.
• Click Print, Download PDF, or Download Word.
• Click Save letter to find it later in My letters. Free: 5 saved letters. Pro: up to 50.

The extension is optional. It places your dictated text directly at the cursor in Gmail, Outlook, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp Web, Notion, and more.

• Available for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
• Use it by clicking the Geloxio icon in your browser toolbar.
• On the dictation page, click Check browser extension to check that it is active.

• Click Upgrade to Pro on the dictation page to subscribe with secure payment.
• Click Manage subscription to manage or cancel your subscription.
• See all details on the pricing page.

When a monthly or daily limit is reached, Geloxio does not stop you: it uses credits instead, if you have some. Credits never expire.

• Click Credits at the top of the dictation page to see your balance and buy a pack: 1,000 credits for €10 or 3,000 credits for €25, with secure payment.
• Credits are available with Geloxio Pro and Business.
• In a Business team, credits are shared by all members, and only the team owner buys them.

Geloxio Business gives every Pro feature to a team of 5, with one subscription paid by the team owner.

• Create your team: click Team at the top of the dictation page (or Choose Business on the pricing page), then Subscribe to Business.
• Invite your colleagues: on the Team page, enter their email address and click Send invitation. They receive a link valid for 7 days, and must sign in with that address.
• Remove a member: click Remove next to their name. They lose the Pro features at once, unless they pay their own Pro.
• Team documents: a member clicks Save to team to share a text. The whole team finds it in the Team tab, next to History and Favorites, and can open and update it. Nothing is shared unless a member chooses to.
• Usage statistics: the team owner sees on the Team page the usage of each member this month, and the credits left.
• Billing: the team owner clicks Manage billing on the Team page to manage or cancel the subscription.
